08:50   Twin Buttes Loop

Est. Mileage: 9 - 16 miles

Possible Trails: Broken Arrow Trail, Hog Heaven, High on the Hog, Little Horse Trail

A great link-up of several of Sedona's most scenic trails. There is a great variety of riding: smooth flow on dirt, plenty of slickrock fun, and many challenging rock drops and climbs. There are no sustained climbs or descents, and no sections are very easy (or difficult) for very long. Though sections of the trail are rated Difficult, this is suitable for an intermediate rider willing with hop off the bike regularly - and it's worth it!

Notable attractions: Chicken Point and Submarine Rock

11:30  Sack Lunch

12:30   Cathedral Rock Tour (Optional: Hi-Line)

Possible Trails: Templeton Trail, Hi-Line, Slim Shady

Est. Mileage: 12 - 15 miles

If we're feeling up to it, we'll cross the street to explore Cathedral Rock. This is the ride to do if you just want to do one thing in the Cathedral Rock area, and you're a confident intermediate or advanced rider. This loop has it all - nice flowy trail, technical rock sections, great scenery, and a couple of more advanced sections.

Notable attractions: Hi-Line is one of the "H"s (the most technical and notorious trails in Sedona)
